It is with great confidence and pleasure that we recommend, without reservation, the professional services of Decker Contracting. We have engaged their services over the past several years for two homes.
Our home in Brandywine Hills underwent renovations including a new state-of-the-art kitchen/dining area and complete remodeling of the master bathroom (no small feat considering it involved the removal of 60 year old solid reinforced concrete floors). The work was done promptly, exactly as outlined, and at the agreed upon price with no "surprises." This work was a significant factor in our ability to sell the house at an excellent price even in the depressed real-estate market.
We have since "moved up" to a 4-year old 10,000 square ft., four level house in Centerville and have used Decker for numerous projects, to our great satisfaction. They have built a striking retaining wall the length of a sloping driveway, enclosed the walkway from the garage to the house, re-done the roof over the entrance, build a new home office, graded the land for better drainage and removed excess trees.
In addition, they have provided invaluable, unsolicited consultations regarding a dangerous open gas line in the basement, and faulty wiring in the kitchen next to a water line, etc. Many times they have "toned down" or discouraged certain additions or renovations with objections based on their experience, rather than acquiescing at a profit to themselves.
We take pride in our professional skills (pediatric orthopedic surgery and psychiatry) and feel sure that we have been fortunate to become clients of an equally knowledgeable, competent and caring organization like Decker Contracting.
